Let's play catch-up....

The last few weeks I have died (numerous times) and gone to music heaven. If soulful, jazzy house is your cup of tea then prepare yourself for a music-induced orgasm of Mariah Carey-vocal like proportions. Rather than write a brief spill on each tune I suggest you listen to everything put in front of you in the post because its all amazing and you will be seriously missing out otherwise. Of special note are:

'Just A Memory' by 6th Borough Project... This song completely blew my mind and just when I thought it couldn't get any better it heats up again at the 4 minute mark. SERIOUSLY amazing tune.

'Those Dancing Days (Original Mix)' by Monkey Safari... I've been racking my brain to determine how I stumbled across this jazzy gem but I really have no idea. Who cares though, its ridiculously smooth. The chorus will make your nipples harder than a naked eskimo on his morning stroll to get the paper.

'Bang Bang Bang (U-Tern's Disco Dub)' by Mark Ronson and the Business INTL... This tune has been getting a lot of airplay lately however this remix is a little lesser known but my favourite version of the song nonetheless. The only criticism I have of it is that there aren't many of the original vocals included as rapped by hip hop legend Q-Tip, my advice: don't skip the 'Tip!!

PS. If you haven't had a chance to listen/buy Miami Horror's new album 'Illumination' then you are in desperate need of a wake-up call and a kick up the clacker. Never have my expectations been blown out of the water so comprehensively from start to finish. Get on it!
